Since the mid-19th century, the Ferretti family has cultivated olive trees with care and passion. Pietra Pinta has become synonymous with excellence in extra virgin olive oil. Our olive groves stretch across Cori’s hills, from historic limestone terraces dating back to the era of Papal Rome to younger groves on the plains. Every tree is cultivated using methods with a low environmental impact.
Established in 1993 for cold extraction, Pietra Pinta’s modern olive mill ensures an exceptional production process with full traceability. Food safety, careful organisation and control guide every stage of milling. Each drop expresses the centuries-old bond between passion and the land.
The olive varieties we grow give Pietra Pinta’s extra virgin olive oil its distinctive character.
Frantoio brings elegance and fresh grassy aromas.
Moraiolo adds structure, with bitter and peppery notes.
Leccino lends softness and freshness.
Itrana, a variety native to the area, gives the oil its signature green tomato aroma.
We grow Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, Pendolino and Itrana using methods with a low environmental impact. All our olives are processed in the estate’s own mill, ensuring care and traceability at every stage of production, excellent sensory qualities and a high-quality product.
